"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Because we are all descendents of Adam and Eve, their sin-nature

was passed down to each and every one of us. Everybody sins

therefore, and the penalty for sin is death. If you die without having

your sins forgiven, you will be judged, found guilty, and sentenced

to hell - eternal torment and separation from God.

God cannot tolerate sin in His presence because He is perfect.

There are no exceptions. All of us fall short of God's

standard of righteousness. We lie, cheat, and steal, we're selfish,

greedy, and revengeful, our thoughts are not always pure,

we lust after things we shouldn't, we tend to want what

others have, we don't listen to God, and we all fall short.

We are all, very imperfect.
