Whether you only put out a few tracts occasionally or you
put them out in mass quantities, this information can help
you prolong
your ministry and minimize or avoid risks.

Placing tracts on car windshields
Materials Needed:
1. Tracts. Stamped and ready to go
2. Some form of transportation
2. Maps (Optional)
3. Highlighter - to indicate on map where you have laid tracts. (Optional)
4. Pen and notepad to take notes while your out - street names,
areas covered, also other relevant notes. (Optional)
Operating Principles
The general idea of this method of tract distribution is to go into an area,
saturate it with tracts, and leave, without hardly being seen or drawing
attention.
Step 1:
Pray
Pray that not one tract would be wasted, that each one would reach as
many people as possible. Pray for God to place angels around the tracts
to protect them. Pray that God would keep the enemy away from the
people who read the tracts.
Step 2: Where to go
Here are some tips:
DO'S
- Public Streets. Public streets are perfect. Places with lots of cars
and as few people around as possible. That means you can put
out a lot of tracts in a short amount of time without hardly being
seen. NOTE: BE CAUTIOUS OF CAR TRAFFIC
- Nighttime in residential areas is an excellent time lots of cars,
everyone's
inside generally.
DON'T DO TOO MUCH
- The area in which you live. Go outside of your area, a mile or two
at least.
- Any area you just put out tracts in recently. If you wish to go back,
wait a few weeks or so.
- Parking Garages. Going through and leaving a few seems ok, but
if you go with the intention of saturating the garage with tracts,
your chances of getting caught increase dramatically. Trust me,
I've been caught and kicked out. So, be covert and don't put
out too many.
- Private property - Perhaps a few discreetly laid tracts. Use your
best
judgment.
DON'T DO AT ALL
- People's driveways. DO NOT go into peoples' driveways to put
tracts on their cars. If you feel like leaving one in a baggie on their
driveway, no problem, just stay away from their car/cars for
obvious reasons.
OTHER TIPS
- Don't let people find out what car you drive. If you're using your
own car, wherever you go: Don't put out tracts right around where
you park. Park a few blocks away from where you wish to put
out tracts and take a walk.
- Keep track of the weather. Make sure its not going to rain within the
next couple days after you put out tracts. You don't want to be
caught in the rain and soggy tracts are not ideal.
Step 3: Where to
leave tracts
- Under windshield wipers, drivers side.
- Don't put tracts in the drivers side door, where the window and
the door meet. It looks too much like your breaking in, especially
if its at night and your having trouble getting the tract in. The tract
can also mess up the rubber strip.
How to Dress and Act
DO'S
- Dress casually. Don't wear all black or try to look "under-cover",
that's what the bad guys do. Your not a bad guy. Wear stuff that
has pockets and load them up with tracts. They can go fast
especially if you find a good area with lots of cars.
DONT'S
- Don't look suspicious. Keep aware of your surroundings but don't
be looking around to see if people are watching you all the time.
Looking or acting suspicious draws negative attention from people.
Act natural. Sometimes This takes time and practice. It's a good
exercise in trusting God to protect you, because He will, granted
you're using common sense.
- Don't rush. Be calm, cool, collected.
- Don't linger around a car for too long. If your having too much trouble
putting a tract on a car, forget it, move on.
